Doc Harvard Thoughts: Faith

You Gotta Have Faith

Founder of 42wd Publishing

You gotta have faith is what I'm saying today. I'm not talking religion, or even theology. I'm talking about that stuff that is akin to hope, but needs even less scientific fact. That stuff, faith, that will explode your creativity, help you spread socially, and keep you going when everyone tells you that you're crazy and should be looking for a nice padded room.

Faith is what motivated me to found 42wd Publishing. Faith is what motivated me to abandon what I used to do to earn money and go back into the artistic world. Faith is what motivated me to move across country and start a new life on $2,000. Finally, faith is what gets me up every morning knowing that I've got a good hour of pain to go through before I can get back to full mobility.

If you don't have faith you will listen to those people who tell you that you can't do something. If you don't have faith then you will never achieve your dreams. Of course if your dreams is to always follow along with the crowd then I guess you would achieve your dreams; but, are they really your dreams or the result of a lack of faith in yourself?

I can't impress upon you how important faith is. If you don't have it, find it.
